Tammy Been,President, has over 13 years of experience in the recruiting & placement industry, specializing in accounting and finance. After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, she started her accounting career in the private sector working for a major oil and gas company. Having gained recruiting experience while in the accounting field, she transitioned into financial staffing in 1997. Tammy has spent most of her career in business development and management positions working with Presidents, CFOs, controllers and other hiring managers in identifying the talent needed within their organizations.

Tammy is a member of TU’s Friends of Finance and Tulsa Area Human Resources Association. On the personal side, Tammy is a competitive tennis player and a member of USTA. In her free time, you will either find her on the tennis court or spending time with her husband and two boys.

Lisa Rambo, Director of Staffing, is known for her thorough approach to the staffing industry. An integral part of the accounting and financial staffing industry for over 12 years, Lisa has experience in business development, recruitment and placement. Lisa is from Missouri, and graduated from the University of Central Missouri with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She began her career with the Missouri State Auditor’s Office, and then transitioned into a compliance role with the Missouri Student Loan Program where she monitored contracts with servicers and oversaw state and federal audits. In 1996, she transitioned into the staffing industry in Oklahoma.

Lisa is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, and has served on the board of several other professional accounting organizations.

Tara Claxton,Office Coordinator, has been working in customer relations and account management for over 8 years. She graduated with a BFA in Dance/ Choreography from the University of Central Oklahoma and has since performed with companies throughout the United States. After living and performing in New York, she returned to Tulsa and began her career in business and participated in a number of community volunteer efforts. In her role as office coordinator, Tara manages the office and focuses on recruiting, sourcing and interviews for candidates of AcctKnowledge.

Tara is an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma as well as a regular volunteer at her son’s school. She is an advocate for local performing arts initiatives and spends much of her time either as a patron of Tulsa’s Performing Arts Center or enjoying Tulsa’s many nature preserves, parks and gardens with her young son.
